DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to more than 2,000 families over the course of the day

Over the course of the day, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews managed to conduct a number of repairs and restore electricity to 8 settlements, de-energized due to constant shelling, thus restoring power to more than 2,000 families in the frontline Donetsk region. Energy workers commence repairs once it becomes possible and the military provide a permit for work performance.

On June 22, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have completely or partially restored power to 8 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring access to electricity for 2,314 families. 

Heavy fighting is underway in the Donetsk region. According to the Ministry of Defense, the enemy continues to concentrate main efforts on Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka directions, where more than 30 battles took place over the course of the day. 

Due to constant damage of grids and equipment by shelling, 109 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
