DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to 3,500 homes over the course of the day

On April 12, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews, with the permission of the military, managed to conduct a number of repairs and restore electricity to residents of 28 settlements, de-energized due to shelling, thus restoring power to almost 3,500 homes of residents of the Donetsk region. Energy workers commence repairs immediately once it becomes possible and the military provide permission for work performance.

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to restore power to 29 settlements of the frontline Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to homes of 3,493 families.

The situation in the region remains difficult. According to the Donetsk RMA, russians shelled settlements of the region 13 times yesterday. 154 people have been evacuated from the frontline.

Constant enemy shelling continues to destroy the energy system. Specialists of the energy company do not always have access to the work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 780 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. Nearly 70 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
