DTEK Donetsk Grids managed to restore power to 7,000 families over the course of the day

Despite the difficult situation in the Donetsk region due to hostilities, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to conduct a number of grids repairs and restore electricity to 7,120 homes, de-energized due to shelling. 

The situation in the Donetsk region remains difficult. According to the Police of the Donetsk region, the enemy continues shelling of the region. In particular, Avdiivka was hit by 4 air strikes over the course of the day. 

Due to constant damage of grids and equipment by shelling, 116 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 611 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. About 60 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
