On Wednesday, Donetsk region was once again hit by bad weather – with heavy rain and stormy wind. Over the course of the day, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to restore power to 37 settlements, thus restoring electricity to homes of almost 28,000 families. Energy workers continue to repair the grids despite active hostilities in the region.

Another case of bad weather brought new power outages to the Donetsk region. Nevertheless, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to restore power to 351 transformer substations and restore electricity to 37 settlements, de-energized due to bad weather, thus restoring power to 27,988 families.

More than 60 crews of energy workers are engaged in restoration activities. They work on restoration of electricity both for residents of the region, affected by bad weather, and for those de-energized due to shelling.

The situation in the Donetsk region remains extremely dangerous. Hostilities are ongoing. According to Donetsk RMA, just yesterday Pokrovsk district of the region was hit by 6 enemy missiles. Therefore, we ask residents to show understanding: energy workers will continue to work in the high alert mode until the electricity is restored wherever possible.

If you have a power outage, please inform us about it in any convenient way: via remote service channels: DTEK Donetsk Grids website, company’s Facebook page. You can also contact the call center: +38 (093/096/099) 450 0 473, though it may take more time due to a large number of calls.

Energy workers are working 24/7 and doing everything possible to provide electricity to every home. Only together and with joint efforts will we be able to endure and overcome these dark times!
