DTEK Donetsk Grids managed to restore electricity to 7,000 families over the course of the day

Over the course of the day, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to conduct a number of grids repairs and completely or partially restore power to 7 settlements, de-energized due to constant shelling of the Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to 7,288 families. 

The situation in the Donetsk region remains difficult. According to the Donetsk RMA, the enemy continues shelling of the region. In particular, Lyman community was shelled 5 times over the course of the day. 

Constant shelling constantly damages grids and equipment. In their turn, specialists of the energy company do not always have access to work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 617 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. More than 60 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
