Over the course of the day, DTEK Donetsk Grids managed to restore electricity to more than 7,000 families after shelling
On May 6, despite the difficult situation in the region due to shelling, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to restore electricity to 39 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring power to homes of 7,472 families.
The situation in the Donetsk region remains difficult. The ongoing shelling continues to destroy peaceful towns and villages, demolishing energy infrastructure in particular. Specialists of the energy company do not always have access to the work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 804 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. Nearly 70 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
