On October 28, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to restore power to more than 11,000 families in 27 settlements, de-energized due to bad weather in the Donetsk region. Storm wind with gusts up to 25 m/s and heavy rain caused falling of trees, branches and poles that led to a number of damages of the energy infrastructure of the region. North of the region was affected by bad weather the most. Besides, energy workers continue restorations after shelling: electricity has been restored to more than 6,500 families. Energy workers are working in the high alert mode and doing everything possible to restore power to the frontline region once it becomes possible.
