DTEK Donetsk Grids has restored power to almost 4,000 families over the course of a day

On September 17, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to restore power to homes of residents of 5 settlements, de-energized due to shelling, thus restoring electricity to almost 4,000 families. Energy workers are doing their best to provide electricity to residents of the Donetsk region and support them in this difficult situation.

Over the course of a day, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore electricity to 5 settlements of the region, thus restoring power to 3,903 families in Volnovakha, Bakhmut, Kramatorsk and Pokrovsk districts.

The majority of families that had electricity restored to them yesterday were in Toretsk community – 1,600 households. Additionally, energy workers, with the permission of the military, were able to conduct repairs in Sloviansk community, restoring electricity to more than a thousand households there. They also managed to work in Velyka Novosilka, Marinka and Kostiantynivka communities.

The situation in the region remains extremely difficult due to active hostilities. The most difficult directions are Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk and Bakhmut. 89 settlements of the region remain without electricity. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
