DTEK energy workers restored electricity to 5,700 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region over the course of the day

DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews restored power to 10 settlements of the region after yet another enemy attacks. Over the course of the day, electricity has been restored to almost 5,700 families, de-energized due to shelling. Despite the threats, specialists continue to repair the grids upon permission of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

On August 22, Dnipropetrovsk region once again suffered from enemy artillery and kamikaze drones strikes. Rf’s attacks damaged grids facilities and de-energized homes of almost 7,000 families in 10 settlements in the south of the region. 

DTEK Dnipro Grids energy workers commenced repairs immediately after obtaining permission from the AFU and SES. Over the course of the day, electricity has been restored to 5,675 de-energized houses.  

Nearly 1,300 homes remain without electricity. Specialists are working to energize them as soon as possible.
