DTEK energy workers restored electricity after shelling to more than 5,000 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region over the course of the day

DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews restored power supply in 4 settlements in the south of the region that were shelled once again. Yesterday, electricity has been restored to more than 5,000 homes. Despite the threats, specialists continue to repair the grids upon permission of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

The aggressor continues daily shelling of the south of the Dnipropetrovsk region using drones and artillery, thus causing damage to power facilities and de-energization of residents. DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews repair lines and equipment, damaged by the enemy, and are doing everything possible to restore power supply as soon as possible. The works are conducted immediately after obtaining a permit for repairs from SES and AFU. 

On April 16, energy workers managed to restore operation of power lines in 4 settlements of the Dnipropetrovsk region, damaged by shelling, thus restoring electricity to homes of 5,021 de-energized families. 

Power supply in the affected districts is now fully restored.
