DTEK energy workers restored electricity after shelling to more than 6,000 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region over the course of the day

DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews restored power supply in 3 settlements in the south of the region after shelling on April 8. As of Tuesday morning, electricity has been restored to all 6,000 homes. Despite the threats, specialists continue to repair the grids upon permission of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

The aggressor continues to terrorize the south of the Dnipropetrovsk region, attacking it with drones and artillery on a daily basis, thus causing damage to power facilities and de-energization of residents. DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews repair lines and equipment, damaged by the enemy, and are doing everything possible to restore power supply as soon as possible. The works are conducted immediately after obtaining a permit for repairs from SES and AFU. 

On April 8, energy workers managed to restore operation of power lines in 3 settlements of the Dnipropetrovsk region, damaged by shelling, thus restoring electricity to homes of all 6,137 de-energized families.
