DTEK energy workers restored electricity to 4,000 homes in the Donetsk region over the course of the day

Over the course of June 16, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews, with the permission of the military, managed to restore power to more than 4,000 homes in the Donetsk region, de-energized due to constant shelling of the region. Specialists of the energy company commence grids repair once the shelling subsides and the military provide a permit for work performance.

Yesterday, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to restore electricity to 4,025 families. 

Heavy fighting is underway in the Donetsk region. According to the AFU General Staff, the enemy concentrates main efforts on Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka directions. 

Due to constant shelling and damage of grids and equipment, 120 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 479 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible.
