DTEK Grids DSO restored electricity to 9,000 families in Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions over the course of the day

On January 6, energy workers have restored electricity to residents of 5 settlements in Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions that constantly suffer from enemy shelling, thus restoring power to 9,000 families. Specialists of the DTEK Grids Distribution System Operators repair the grids, destroyed by the enemy, immediately after obtaining permission from the AFU and SES.

Heavy fighting is underway in the Donetsk region. Despite constant shelling of the region, over the course of the day energy workers restored electricity to 8,500 families in the Donetsk region, residents of which constantly suffer from the aftermath of enemy shelling. 

South of the Dnipropetrovsk region also suffers from regular shelling that constantly damages grids and equipment. Energy workers restored electricity to almost 600 families of residents of the Dnipropetrovsk region, de-energized due to enemy attacks. 

Specialists of DTEK Grids DSO restored electricity to some settlements close to the area of hostilities on dozens of occasions and they continue to do it again and again.  

DTEK Grids energy workers have been working for 682 days in a row and are doing everything possible to eliminate damage as soon as possible. They commence work immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site of damage from the AFU and SES.
