DTEK Dnipro Grids restored electricity after shelling to 2,400 families over the course of two days

On April 22 and 23, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists were able to perform a number of repairs of grids and equipment, affected by shelling in the Dnipropetrovsk region, thus restoring electricity to more than 2,400 homes in 7 settlements. Despite the threats, specialists continue to repair the grids upon permission of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

Dnipropetrovsk region continues to be subjected to enemy shelling that regularly damages grids and leaves residents of the region without electricity. DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews repair lines and equipment, damaged by the enemy, and are doing everything possible to restore electricity as soon as possible. The works are conducted immediately after obtaining a permit for repairs from SES and AFU. 

Over the past two days, DTEK energy workers managed to restore operation of grids for 2,415 families in 7 settlements, whose homes were de-energized due to hostilities. 

Nearly 2,200 families in the south of the region remain without electricity after yesterday’s shelling. Specialists are working to energize them as soon as possible.
