DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to 6,600 homes in the Donetsk region over the course of two days

Over the course of two days, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to repair a number of grids damages and completely or partially restore power to 9 settlements, thus restoring electricity to homes of 6,697 families. 

The situation in the Donetsk region remains difficult. According to the Donetsk RMA, shelling of the region’s settlements continues. In particular, Kurakhove community alone was shelled 7 times over the course of the day. 

Due to constant damage of grids and equipment by shelling, 110 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 582 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. About 60 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
