Over the course of two days, DTEK Donetsk Grids managed to restore electricity to 6 settlements, de-energized due to shelling

Over the past two days, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have completely or partially restored power to 6 settlements in the frontline Donetsk region, affected by constant shelling, thus restoring electricity to 6,498 families. 

The situation in the Donetsk region remains difficult. According to the head of the region Vadym Filashkin, the enemy attacked settlements of the region 13 times over the course of the day. Pokrovsk, in particular, was hit by a missile strike. 

Constant shelling damages grids and equipment. Specialists of the energy company do not always have access to the work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 707 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible. More than 60 crews of the energy company are working daily on restorations in the region.
