DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to 3,000 families in the Donetsk region over the course of two days

On August 7 and 8, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews, with the permission of the military, managed to access a number of grids damages and repair it, thus restoring power to residents of 6 settlements, affected by constant shelling of the region. Electricity has been restored to homes of 3,000 families. Energy workers make every effort to restore electricity once it becomes possible in order to support residents of the Donetsk region in the difficult situation of constant hostilities.

Over the course of two days, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have completely or partially restored power to residents of 6 settlements, thus restoring electricity to 3,042 families in the Donetsk region.

Fighting is underway in the Donetsk region. Shelling of the region, missile and air strikes continue.

Due to constant damage of grids and equipment by shelling, 122 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 532 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible.
