DTEK Donetsk Grids was able to restore electricity to 1,100 families over the course of two days

On May 10 and 11, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to eliminate a number of grids damages, caused by shelling, and restore power to residents of 3 settlements, affected by constant hostilities in the region, thus restoring electricity to 1,100 homes of residents of the Donetsk region. Energy workers commence repairs immediately once it becomes possible and the military provide permission for work performance.

Over the past two days, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists restored power to residents of 3 settlements, thus restoring electricity to 1,101 families.

The situation in the Donetsk region remains difficult. The ongoing shelling continues to destroy peaceful towns and villages, demolishing energy infrastructure in particular. Specialists of the energy company do not always have access to the work sites due to the security situation in the region. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine
