DTEK energy workers restored electricity after shelling to more than 3,000 families in the south of the Dnipropetrovsk region over the course of two days

On April 30 and May 1, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists performed a number of repairs of grids and equipment, affected by shelling, thus restoring electricity to more than 3,000 homes in 5 settlements in the south of the region. Despite the threats, specialists continue to repair the grids upon permission of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

Dnipropetrovsk region continues to be subjected to enemy attacks that regularly damage grids and leave residents of the region without electricity. DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews repair lines and equipment, damaged by the aggressor, and are doing everything possible to restore electricity as soon as possible. The works are conducted immediately after obtaining a permit for repairs from SES and AFU. 

Over the past two days, DTEK energy workers managed to restore operation of grids for 3,130 families in 5 settlements, whose homes were de-energized due to shelling the day before. 

Nearly 30 homes remain without electricity. Specialists are working to energize them as soon as possible.
