DTEK energy workers restored electricity to 12,800 families in the Donetsk region over the course of two days

On June 30 and July 1, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews, with the permission of the military, managed to restore power to 7 settlements in the Donetsk region, de-energized due to constant shelling of the region, thus restoring electricity to almost 12,800 households. Specialists of the energy company commence grids restoration once the shelling subsides and the military provide a permit for work performance.

Over the course of two days, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to completely or partially restore electricity to 7 settlements, thus restoring access to power supply for 12,814 families. 

Heavy fighting continues in the Donetsk region. According to the General Staff of Ukraine, the enemy continues to concentrate main efforts on Lyman, Bakhmut and Marinka directions. 

Due to constant shelling and damage of grids and equipment, 125 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 494 days in a row and repair equipment and lines once it becomes possible.
