Over the course of two days, DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids restored electricity to more than 81,000 homes, left without power supply due to enemy attacks on power facilities, particularly on transmission grids of another energy company powering the region. Energy workers repair damaged lines and electrical equipment immediately after receiving permission from AFU and SES. The main goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for the normal life of the region’s residents.

Consequences of enemy attacks left some customers in the Kyiv region without electricity. The crews restored power supply to a total of 81,577 homes. Wherever technical capacities allowed, DTEK Kyiv Regional Grids specialists energized customers via backup circuits in order to restore electricity to homes as quickly as possible.

Frequent air alerts added difficulties to the crew’s work. During the air alert, energy workers have to suspend work at power facilities. Once the security situation allowed, energy workers resumed repairs of the grids.
