DTEK Donetsk Grids restored power to almost 7,000 families in the Donetsk region over the course of 2 days

On January 9 and 10, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore electricity to residents of 9 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to homes of almost 7,000 families. Energy workers are doing everything possible to promptly restore power supply once it becomes possible in order to support residents of the frontline region in the difficult situation of constant shelling and winter cold.

Over the course of two days, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews, with the permission of the military, were able to complete a number of repairs and restore electricity to 9 settlements, de-energized due to shelling, thus restoring electricity to 6,886 families.

The situation in the Donetsk region remains steadily difficult. Artillery shelling, missile and air strikes continue. According to the Ministry of Defense, Defense Forces have repelled enemy attacks near 11 settlements of the region yesterday.

121 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
