DTEK Donetsk Grids managed to restore power to more than 186,000 families in July

Despite constant hostilities in the region that were ongoing in July, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists, with the permission of the military, managed to conduct a number of repairs and restore power to residents of 283 settlements* last month, thus restoring electricity to more than 186,000 families in the Donetsk region. Energy workers are doing everything possible to restore power supply in the frontline region once it becomes possible and the military provide permission for work performance. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, energy workers restored electricity to a running total of 8 mln families.

The enemy continued shelling the Donetsk region and launching missile and air strikes In July. The energy infrastructure suffered damage on a daily basis. Despite all difficulties, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to restore electricity to homes of 186,431 families in 283 settlements. 

Last week alone, specialists of the energy company restored electricity to 68,400 families in 109 settlements of the Donetsk region. 

The situation in the Donetsk region remains extremely difficult. Daily shelling constantly damages the energy system of the region. Crews of energy workers come under fire more and more often too. This month, one of our colleagues was wounded and one of our divisions was destroyed. 

Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 894 days in a row and are repairing equipment and lines once it becomes possible.
