Frequent artillery shelling and missile strikes cause large-scale damage to the grids. Energy workers repair them again and again. Last month, emergency and repair crews have restored power to 17,228 families that were left without electricity due to destruction of power lines by shelling.

The most difficult situation remains in Nikopol and Kryvyi Rih districts. Just last week, operation of lines was restored in 12 settlements, thus restoring electricity to almost 5,000 homes of their residents. Some households require restoration of power on multiple occasions due to frequent shelling and damage of electrical equipment.

DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists restore electricity immediately after obtaining the permit from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and State Emergency Service. Since the beginning of a full-scale russian invasion, energy workers have restored electricity to almost 55,000 households in the Dnipropetrovsk region
