Intensity of enemy shelling keeps rising in the Dnipropetrovsk region, frequently causing damage to the grids and leaving residents of the region without electricity. Last month, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency and repair crews have restored power to 133,000 families that were left without electricity due to destruction of power lines.
The most difficult situation remains in Nikopol and Kryvyi Rih districts, which are constantly attacked by the occupants. Some households require restoration of power several times per week due to frequent shelling and damage of electrical equipment. Yesterday alone, operation of grids was restored for more than 1,600 homes in Nikopol district after shelling the day before.
DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists restore electricity immediately after obtaining a permit from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service. Since the beginning of a full-scale russian invasion, energy workers have restored electricity to more than 262,000 households in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
About 1,300 families in 3 settlements of the region remain without electricity. Energy workers are doing everything possible to restore electricity as soon as possible. Work will be carried out once our specialist obtain a corresponding permit from SES and the military.
