Intensity of shelling remains high in the Dnipropetrovsk region, frequently damaging grids and leaving residents of the region without electricity. Last month, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency and repair crews have restored power to 72,000 families that were left without electricity due to destruction of power lines by shelling.
The most difficult situation remains in Nikopol and Kryvyi Rih districts, constantly attacked by the occupants. Some households require restoration of power on dozens occasions due to frequent shelling and damage of electrical equipment. Yesterday alone, operation of grids was restored in 3 settlements, thus restoring electricity to more than 2,000 homes of its residents.
DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists restore electricity immediately after obtaining the permit from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service. Since the beginning of a full-scale russian invasion, energy workers have restored electricity to 127,000 households in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
About 1,600 families in 3 settlements of the region remain without electricity. Energy workers are doing everything possible to restore electricity as soon as possible. Work will be carried out once our specialist obtain a permit from the AFU and SES.
