Over the past month, energy workers of DTEK Odesa Grids restored electricity to homes of more than half a million families after enemy attacks
In January, the enemy launched destructive strikes on 4 power facilities of DTEK Odesa Grids. Another two damaged substations were attacked the second time. Since the beginning of the full-scale war, a total of 29 large power facilities of the company have suffered significant damage.
Nevertheless, our specialists continued to work despite icy wind, snowdrifts, total glazed frost and cold. As a result – electricity has been restored to 547,700 families in 207 towns and villages. Emergency and restoration repairs are always carried out with consideration of the security situation.
Let us remind that on February 4, in accordance with Ukrenergo command, stabilization power shutdowns are in force in some parts of the Odesa region. They are applied only to the residents of the region and only where the condition of the grids allows it. Unscheduled emergency power shutdowns are applied in the city of Odesa, in some parts of the Odesa district and in some district centers of the region. Additionally, there are local power outages due to bad weather.
Energy workers all over the Odesa region are working 24/7 to ensure predictable schedules throughout the region despite any challenges. The light is holding!
