Energy workers of DTEK Odesa Grids restored electricity to almost 214,000 families over the past week
Odesa region suffered new enemy attacks. Over the past week, energy workers restored electricity to 213,900 families in 21 settlements of the region. Energy workers of DTEK Odesa Grids commenced emergency and restoration activities immediately after obtaining permission from the military and the emergency service.
“The enemy continues to destroy substations, and our task is to do everything possible to provide Ukrainians with electricity. This year alone, 19 of our company’s unique power facilities have been attacked, 30 power transformers burned to the ground. There is a lot of work now and we are working 24/7 to restore operational state of the equipment and ensure stable operation of the grid,” – noted Dmytro Hryhoriev, CEO at DTEK Odesa Grids.
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, energy workers of DTEK Odesa Grids have restored power to a total of more than 2.5 million customers*, de-energized due to enemy attacks.
