From January 16 to 22, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists were able to completely or partially restore electricity to 83 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring electricity to homes of 40,627 families in the frontline Donetsk region.

In particular, yesterday energy workers have restored electricity to 7,700 families in 24 settlements.

The situation in the Donetsk region remains difficult. Active hostilities are underway. According to the Ministry of Defense, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in Lyman and Avdiivka directions and continues its offensive in the Bakhmut direction.

Constant shelling continues to damage the energy infrastructure. Therefore, 97 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 334 days in a row and are repairing equipment and lines, once it becomes possible.
