Despite escalation of the situation in the Donetsk region, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore electricity to residents of 72 settlements over the course of a week, thus restoring access to electricity for 40,707 families.

In particular, yesterday energy workers have restored electricity to 2,100 families in 7 settlements.

The situation in the Donetsk region remains very difficult. According to the spokesperson for the AFU Eastern Group of Forces Serhii Cherevatyi, the main direction of the enemy offensive remains Bakhmut section of the front, where the enemy has shelled the entire section with various types of artillery 167 times and where 41 battles have taken place.

Constant shelling continues to damage the energy infrastructure. Therefore, 108 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 355 days in a row and are repairing equipment and lines, once it becomes possible.
