DTEK Donetsk Grids has restored power to more than 40,000 families over the course of a week

From March 6 to 12, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews, with the permission of the military, managed to repair a number of grids damage and restore electricity to residents of 54 settlements, thus restoring power to more than 40,000 families. Energy workers make every effort to restore power supply in the frontline region once it becomes possible. Since February 24, 2022, specialists of the energy company have restored power to more than 4.1 mln families* in the Donetsk region.

Over the course of a week, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore electricity to residents of 54 settlements, thus restoring access to electricity for 42,870 families in the Donetsk region. 

In particular, on Sunday energy workers have restored electricity to more than 6,000 families in 8 settlements. 

Donetsk region remains an arena of active hostilities. According to the Ministry of Defense, the enemy continues its offensive in Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Marinka and Shakhtarsk directions, where more than 100 enemy attacks have been repelled yesterday alone. 

Constant shelling continues to damage the energy infrastructure. Therefore, 113 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 384 days in a row and are repairing equipment and lines once it becomes possible.
