Over the course of a week, DTEK has restored power to more than 81,000 families in the Donetsk region
August 1 through 7, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists, were able to completely or partially restore power to residents of 104 settlements, thus restoring electricity to 81,833 families in the Donetsk region.
For instance, yesterday energy workers have energized 22 settlements and restored power to almost 8,000 households in Kramatorsk, Pokrovsk, Bakhmut and Volnovakha districts.
The majority of restorations were in Kramatorsk community, where electricity was restored to more than 3,000 households. Specialists of the energy company were also able to work in Avdiivka, Bakhmut, Toretsk, Velyka Novosilka, Selydove, Marinka and Sloviansk communities.
Due to constant hostilities, the situation in the Donetsk region remained difficult last week. The enemy continues to try to advance in the Donetsk region. 102 settlements remain without electricity. The most difficult directions are Sloviansk, Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk and Bakhmut. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
