Over the week, Dnipropetrovsk region was subjected to repeated enemy attacks, which caused damage to grids, substations and power outages for residents of the region. Despite constant shelling, energy workers promptly repair lines and equipment, damaged by the enemy. Work is carried out immediately after obtaining a permit from the AFU and State Emergency Service.
Over the past week, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews have restored electricity to 8,541 families in 16 settlements of the Dnipropetrovsk region that suffered from hostilities. Energy workers have concentrated their main efforts in Nikopol district, which is subjected to constant massive enemy shelling. In the last 24 hours alone, they have restored power to more than 1,500 families here. About 350 households remain without electricity in Zelenodolsk community, which the occupants have hit late last night. Electricity is to be restored to them by the end of the day, after obtaining a permit for works performance from the State Emergency Service and the military.
Emergency crews of energy workers are working non-stop to promptly restore power to settlements of the region that suffered due to hostilities. Since the beginning of a full-scale russian invasion, energy workers have restored power to more than 77,000 homes. The majority – in the frequently shelled Kryvyi Rih and Nikopol districts.
