Over the course of a week, DTEK energy workers have restored power to 4,500 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region that were left without electricity due to shelling
Last week, Dnipropetrovsk region was a subject to repeated missile strikes and artillery shelling by the enemy, which caused damage to grids, substations and power outages for residents of the region. Despite constant shelling, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews promptly repair lines and equipment, damaged by the enemy. The works are conducted immediately after obtaining a permit from the AFU and the State Emergency Service.
Last week, energy workers have restored electricity to 4,500 families in 20 settlements of the Dnipropetrovsk region. Just yesterday, they have restored power to 325 families in the Nikopol district, which is being frequently shelled by the enemy lately.
Emergency crews of energy workers are working non-stop for 145 days in a row to promptly restore power to settlements of the region, which suffered from hostilities. Since the beginning of a full-scale russian invasion, energy workers have restored power to almost 44,000 homes. The majority – in the Kryvyi Rih and Nikopol districts, which frequently suffer from enemy shelling.
