Over the past week, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency and restoration crews have restored service to 6,000 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region, thus restoring electricity to 9 settlements, de-energized due to shelling. Since the beginning of a full-scale russian invasion, energy workers have restored power to a total of 50,000 homes in the region, affected by hostilities.

Last week, Dnipropetrovsk region was a subject to repeated missile strikes and artillery shelling by the enemy, which caused damage to grids, substations and power outages for residents of the region. Despite constant shelling, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews promptly repair lines and equipment, damaged by the enemy. Last week, they have restored electricity to 6,000 families in 9 settlements of the region.

By the morning of July 25, 972 customers in 2 settlements of Nikopol and Dnipro districts remain without electricity after night shelling. DTEK emergency crews will carry out lines repairs immediately after obtaining a permit from the AFU and the State Emergency Service.

Overall, since the beginning of a full-scale russian invasion, energy workers have restored power to almost 50,000 homes in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The majority – in the Kryvyi Rih and Nikopol districts, frequently shelled by the enemy.
