DTEK specialists managed to restore electricity to more than 88,000 families in the Donetsk region over the course of a week

Over the course of a week, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore power to 120 settlements, thus restoring electricity to 88,642 families in the Donetsk region.

For example, during the weekend energy workers have restored electricity to residents of 36 settlements, de-energized due to shelling in Pokrovsk, Kramatorsk and Bakhmut districts, thus restoring electricity to 20,983 families.

Active hostilities are underway in the Donetsk region; massive artillery shelling, missile and air strikes continue. Energy workers again and again repair the grids, where possible. However, damage of the energy infrastructure from fighting becomes larger and larger, causing shut down of energy enterprises. We ask our customers to treat the situation with understanding.

326 settlements in the Donetsk region remain without electricity. The most difficult situation is in the direction of Sloviansk, Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk and Bakhmut. Energy workers have to wait for the permit from the Armed Forces of Ukraine to commence repairs.

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 142 days in a row and are repairing equipment and lines again and again, as soon as it becomes possible.
