DTEK Donetsk Grids managed to restore electricity to more than 11,000 families in 25 settlements over the course of a day

On April 18, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews, with the permission of the military, were able to access a number of grids damages and repair it, thus restoring power to 25 settlements, de-energized due to shelling in the Donetsk region. Electricity has been restored to more than 11,000 families of the frontline region. Energy workers are doing everything possible to restore power supply in the Donetsk region once it becomes possible and the military provide a permit for work performance.

Over the course of a day, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore electricity to 25 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring power to 11,316 families.

Shelling of the Donetsk region continues. According to the Ministry of Defense, the enemy continues to concentrate efforts on conducting offensive in Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka directions, where over 60 enemy attacks have been repelled yesterday.

Due to constant damage of grids and equipment by shelling, 113 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
