On April 5, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists, with the permission of the military, were able to completely or partially restore electricity to 8 settlements in the Donetsk region, de-energized due to shelling, thus restoring power to more than 3,000 families in the frontline region. Energy workers are doing everything possible to restore electricity to residents of the Donetsk region once it becomes possible and the military provide a permit for work performance.

Over the course of a day, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to restore power to residents of 8 settlements, thus restoring electricity to homes of 3,108 families in the Donetsk region.

Fighting is underway in the Donetsk region. Massive shelling, of the region continues as well, causing constant destruction of the region’s energy infrastructure.

106 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 407 days in a row and are repairing equipment and lines once it becomes possible.
