DTEK Donetsk Grids have restored power to more than 12,000 households over the course of a day
On August 30, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews were able to completely or partially restore power to 7 settlements, thus restoring electricity to 12,104 families in Kramatorsk, Pokrovsk and Bakhmut districts.
Massive shelling continues to destroy energy infrastructure of the region. Nevertheless, energy workers commence repairs immediately once it becomes possible. Thus, yesterday specialists of the energy company have restored power to more than 10,000 households in Bakhmut community that suffers from massive shelling every day. This is the majority of restorations, conducted yesterday. Additionally, energy workers were able to perform repairs in Avdiivka, Sloviansk and Toretsk communities.
The enemy does not give up attempts to attack. The situation in the region remains extremely difficult. 90 settlements remain without electricity, as energy workers do not have a permit for work performance from the military and are unable to work there. The most difficult directions are Avdiivka, Marinka, Toretsk, Bakhmut and Sloviansk. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
