DTEK Donetsk Grids has restored power to more than 14,000 families over the course of a day

Despite shelling over the course of a day, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews managed to completely or partially restore electricity to 10 settlements in the Donetsk region, de-energized due to hostilities, thus restoring power to more than 14,000 households. Energy workers commence restoration activities immediately, once the shelling subsides and the military provide a permit for work performance.

On October 13, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists, with the permission of the military, were able to access a number of damages and repair them, thus restoring electricity to 14,085 households in 10 settlements of the Donetsk region.

Donetsk region remains an arena of active fighting. For instance, according to the Ministry of Defense, the entire contact line on Kramatorsk, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Novopavlivske directions was continuously shelled yesterday. The enemy continued his offensive attempts on Bakhmut direction. The situation in the region remains very difficult.

89 settlements remain without electricity. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
