DTEK Donetsk Grids has restored power to more than 11,000 households over the course of a day

On November 21, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews were able to restore power to residents of 3 settlements, de-energized due to shelling, thus restoring electricity to more than 11,000 households in the Donetsk region. Energy workers are doing everything possible to restore electricity in the region and support its residents that live in difficult conditions of constant hostilities.

Over the course of a day, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have completely or partially restored electricity to 3 settlements in the Donetsk region, thus restoring power to 11,208 households.

Active hostilities are underway in the Donetsk region. Shelling of both the frontline and settlements in in the relative rear continues. According to the Ministry of Defense, the enemy continues offensive attempts in the directions of Avdiivka and Bakhmut.

99 settlements remain without electricity, as specialists of the energy company do not have access to work there. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain a permit for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists are working non-stop for 272 days in a row and are repairing equipment and lines, once it becomes possible.

Let us remind that due to a difficult situation in the energy system, stabilization power cutoffs are underway in the Donetsk region in compliance with the NPC Ukrenergo order. A tentative schedule of shutdowns is available on our website. We also urge all customers to consume electricity reasonably – switch on energy-consuming devices in turn and minimize electricity consumption from 06.00 to 11.00 in the morning and from 17.00 to 23.00 in the evening. We ask business customers to limit usage of exterior lighting of facades of offices, restaurants, malls.
