DTEK emergency and restoration crews have restored power to all settlements of the Dnipropetrovsk region after yesterday shelling, thus restoring electricity to 3,478 families that were without power due to damaged grids.

On the night of August 4, russian army has once again fired on Nikopol and Kryvyi Rih district. Enemy shelling damaged power lines. DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews have promptly restored its operation as soon as they obtained a permit for repair from the military. Over the course of a day, they restored electricity to 3,478 homes in three settlements of the region.

Despite constant shelling, DTEK energy workers promptly repair lines and equipment damaged by the enemy. Since the beginning of a full-scale russian invasion, they have already restored power to more than 59,000 families in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The majority of restorations were in Kryvyi Rih and Nikopol districts that most often come under enemy fire. Work is conducted immediately after obtaining a permit from the AFU and State Emergency Service. Some settlements required repair of lines and equipment dozens of times since February 24.
