Over the course of the week, DTEK Dnipro Grids restored electricity to 314,000 families after russian attacks
Energy infrastructure of the Dnipropetrovsk region continues to suffer from enemy attacks that cause massive power outages in towns and villages of the region. Despite the difficult security situation, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists continue to restore power supply immediately after obtaining permission from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the SES.
Over the past week, energy workers restored electricity to 314,434 families, left without it due to the russian strikes. In particular, electricity supply has been completely restored after the attack on the power facility in Kryvyi Rih.
“Early Saturday morning, damage to the high-voltage grids caused power outage in the large part of the city, leaving almost 184,000 families without electricity. Energy workers did everything to restore electricity as soon as possible. Coordinated efforts made it possible to promptly energize everything. As soon as at 10:30, electricity has been restored to all residents,” ‒ commented DTEK Dnipro Grids CEO Andrii Tereshchuk.
Restoration activities in the frontline zone are complicated by constant shelling. Nevertheless, energy workers are doing everything possible to restore electricity to residents’ homes as soon as possible.
