Over the course of the week, DTEK Dnipro Grids restored electricity to more than 179,000 homes in the Dnipropetrovsk region after shelling
The enemy continues to attack the Dnipropetrovsk region, thus causing power outages in towns and villages of the region.
Over the past week, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists restored power to 179,385 families, whose homes were de-energized due to daily enemy strikes.
“Several power facilities in the region were attacked this weekend. Yesterday, our specialists managed to energize over 72,000 homes in 31 settlements that were de-energized. Restoration of power supply is ongoing in Pavlohrad and Pavlohrad district that were once again left without electricity yesterday. Over the night, electricity was already restored to the equipment of water utility company and to the majority of homes. We are currently working on restoring power supply to all residents as soon as possible,” ‒ noted DTEK Dnipro Grids CEO Andrii Tereshchuk.
Emergency crews commence repairs immediately after obtaining permission and access to the site from the AFU and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. Restoration activities in the frontline zone are complicated due to the security situation. Nevertheless, energy workers are doing everything possible to eliminate damage as soon as possible.
