DTEK Dnipro Grids restored electricity after shelling to more than 34,000 homes in the Dnipropetrovsk region over the course of the week

From April 14 to 20, DTEK Dnipro Grids emergency crews restored electricity to more than 34,000 families, left without power supply due to russian strikes. Energy workers repair lines and electrical equipment, destroyed by the enemy, immediately after obtaining permission from the AFU and SES. Our goal is to provide towns and villages with electricity, required for normal life of region’s residents.

Dnipropetrovsk region continues to suffer enemy shelling that causes damage of lines, power equipment, as well as power outages for the customers.

During the week before Easter, DTEK Dnipro Grids specialists restored electricity to 34,720 families in the region, whose homes were de-energized due to russian terrorist attacks. Yesterday alone, they restored power to almost 19,000 homes in 14 settlements of the region, shelled the day before.

Despite the statements of energy ceasefire, the enemy continues to attack power facilities in the Dnipropetrovsk region. In particular, in the night of April 17, a targeted attack damaged one of the DTEK Dnipro Grids working sites.

Despite the threats, energy workers continue to repair the grids upon permission of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
