Despite heavy fighting in the region last week (September 30 through October 6), DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore electricity to residents of 285 settlements, thus restoring power supply to homes of 152,989 families, de-energized due to shelling in the Donetsk region.

Over the weekend alone, energy workers managed to restore electricity to 18,100 families in 23 settlements.

Heavy fighting in the Donetsk region continues. The enemy does not stop attacking day and night using artillery, among other things, which often does not give energy workers any time to get to safety. Nevertheless, energy workers continue to work for 957 days now and will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once the situation and the military allow.
