DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to 17,300 homes over the course of a week

From October 21 to 27, DTEK Donetsk Grids emergency and repair crews, with the permission of the military, managed to repair a number of grids damages and restore electricity to residents of 63 settlements, thus restoring access to power supply for almost 17,300 families. Energy workers make every effort to restore power supply in the frontline region once it becomes possible. Since February 24, 2022, specialists of the energy company restored power supply to a total of more than 8.9 mln families* in the Donetsk region.

Despite heavy fighting in the region, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore power to residents of 63 settlements, thus restoring electricity to 17,373 families in the Donetsk region.

Including the weekend, when energy workers restored electricity to almost 3,000 families in 4 settlements, de-energized due to enemy shelling.

Donetsk region remains an arena of the most active hostilities. Damage of the energy infrastructure due to constant shelling continues. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region immediately after obtaining permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
