DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to 19,200 homes over the course of the week

Despite heavy fighting in the region and constant shelling, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore power to residents of 17 settlements last week, thus restoring access to electricity for 19,237 families in the Donetsk region.  

In particular, energy workers managed to restore power to 7,700 homes in 7 settlements over the weekend alone. 

Donetsk region remains an arena of the most active hostilities. Damage of the energy infrastructure due to constant shelling continues. Energy workers will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region immediately after obtaining permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

The works in the Donetsk region become increasingly dangerous: last week, specialists of the energy company once again came under an enemy air strike. Fortunately, they remained unharmed. Nevertheless, DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists have been working non-stop for 1,111 days now and repairing equipment and lines immediately once it becomes possible.
