Over the course of a week, DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to 319,000 homes in the Donetsk region, de-energized due to the shelling

Despite heavy fighting in the region last week (September 9 through 15), DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore electricity to residents of 224 settlements, thus restoring power supply to homes of 319,290 families, de-energized due to shelling in the Donetsk region.

The lion’s share of restorations – 234,000 homes in 116 settlements – was carried out during the weekend, when the enemy shelling caused de-energization of the part of the north of the region.

Heavy fighting in the Donetsk region continues. The enemy does not stop attacking day and night using artillery, among other things, which often does not give energy workers any time to move to safety. Nevertheless, energy workers continue to work and will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
