Over the course of a week, DTEK Donetsk Grids restored electricity to 38,700 homes in the Donetsk region, de-energized due to shelling

Despite the heavy fighting in the region last week (August 19 through 25), DTEK Donetsk Grids specialists managed to completely or partially restore electricity to residents of 116 settlements, thus restoring power supply to homes of 38,747 families, de-energized due to shelling in the Donetsk region.  

Including the weekend, when energy workers restored electricity to 5,500 residents of 15 settlements, affected by hostilities as well. 

Heavy fighting in the Donetsk region continues. The enemy does not stop attacking day and night using artillery, among other things, which often does not give energy workers any time to move to safety. Nevertheless, energy workers continue to work and will definitely restore electricity to all residents of the region once they obtain permission for work performance from the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
